Coaching for Teens

Life Coaching for Teens and College Students

Being a teen or young adult today is a challenge.  The pressures on our children are vast.  Especially now in these unprecedented times.  Technology, school work, sports schedules and social challenges make for an incredibly stressed child.  And the long term impacts the pandemic had on mental health for all ages is very real.  The uncertainty in a spiraling world has had significant effects.   The same is true for college students.

If your teen is open to an engaging, two-way, supportive conversation about how they're feeling and has a willingness to partner in creating strategies for inner strength and resilience, coaching could be a valuable way to move forward with a renewed sense of confidence and optimism.

Life Coaching for Teens

As a parent or advocate for
children, you want to be able to
provide resources for your kids that
might present as overwhelmed,
stressed or unhappy, but who
perhaps may not necessarily
require mental health therapy.

Life Coaching is a fantastic, strengths-based alternative for teens and college students.
We focus on solutions and we
discuss age-appropriate reasons
they may want to make shifts in their
thoughts and actions.

What Do We Work On?

  • Bullying or other social issues/building resiliency
  • Challenges with behavior at      school  or at home
  • Issues with sleeping, getting up in  the morning
  • Low self-esteem or confidence   levels
  • Organization skills
  • Managing emotions
  • Excessive arguing with siblings
  • Stress or overwhelm
  • Worrying
  • Digital responsibility

How Do We Work?

My basic premise:  There is nothing wrong with you.  We all have room for growth.
We work together to build a stronger inner tool belt.

Together, we set realistic and age-appropriate goals and discuss
strategies that can help a child feel
more empowered and successful
at home, in sports and at school.
Whatever the child most wants
to improve is what fuels our
discussion.

It is a space for kids to have
important and confidence boosting conversations that literally create a toolbox of internal resources and sets a foundation for total well-being into adulthood.
